This has been one of my favorite anime, ever. As expected, listening to you ask questions that get answered is amazing. Also poor parapadscha man. Spends an absurd amount of years unconscious waiting to be woken up as Rutile tries 100s of times. Only to be up for... what, a few minutes?

The second season is probably a couple of years away at least sadly. The studio is producing another series right now, and the Manga is just getting far enough ahead that they could produce a second season from the content. So either they will start production right after the current series they are producing ends, or they will wait until there is more than one season's worth of content to start production on multiple seasons. Either way, I would prefer they take their time and get it right, this series has such an amazing feeling to it that I can't wait to feel again :)

Rewatching this with you guys has reminded me how much I loved it the first time. Well framed visuals are awesome, and music is killer. But its really the gentle sun-lit images and contemplative nature that's so good. Lots of room to reflect on what it means to be human, or partially human, or beyond human, or whatever they are without being too sensational or pretentious. Antarc portions were even sadder to me this time around somehow. I haven't been able to get into the Manga so I really hope they produce a second season soon. Definitely the steep price of personal growth makes this anime more relatable than sexless, anthropomorphic, gems hunted by religious imagery from the moon have any right to be.

Land of the Lustrous season 2 is gonna be a while, in part because the studio is doing the anime adaptation of Beastars, which is HIGHLY RECOMMEND Definately watch Beastars in October, it's one of the best mangas I have ever read and everyone who read it praises it to high heaven

Land of the Lustrous series was completed. It was the last reason for keeping my subscription. I should check this patreon next year.
