SOS Bros React - RWBY Volume 6 Chapter 3 w/ Timer

Comments

Zane

quite arguably the single best episode of rwby? like, at least production wise, because that was beautiful to look at regardless about what you actually thought of the plot. personally, I died of joy

Pumbloom

TONS OF QUESTIONS ANSWERED WOOOOOO. K, all i need is Cinder backstory, Adam backstory/arc, Silver eyes explanation, a STRQ story, and RWBY's reaction to all this, and then I will be good. :)

Dio

I will never understand why anyone likes this joke of a show. The animation and art is objectively awful, it's like the 3D Berserk seasons, it just looks like complete shit. And the plot is incredibly generic, edgy weeaboo stuff that could have been conjured up by any 12 year old Sephiroth fanboy. It's a total cringefest.

Akiyo

I don't understand either. Usually they're very critic with other shows, specially with the predictable ones, but they happen to be very lenient with all flaws in RWBY. However, I think it's okay if they genuinely like it.

Fresh2mde

Honestly, it's just that this show have some kind of a special soul. Long story short, it's born from the dream of a dude that was exceptionally good at animating fighting choreography (which was the absolute best attribute of this show, their fight scenes are really great). He was just making random fighting scenes for the sake of it, but he wished to make a show out of it. And then RWBY was born. And you actually see everything improve in this show. The voice acting was ridiculously bad the first episodes, and it got better. There were only models for main characters in the first season, everyone else was some kind of black shadow. Also, they made very endearing characters, even if for the most part they really lack depth. Honestly, i'm not found of fighting animes and shonens in general (i hate MHA, and it's pretty similar to RWBY imo), but this show is just different. I can also point out that the voice actors of this show are super cool persons. It has tons of flaws of course (and i mean a shit tons of flows), at first it was pretty innocent and funny, nothing serious was happening, and i think it was way better this way considering they are really meh in terms of character development and actually telling a coherent story. They do seem to have improved for this season tho. Also all theses shipping things are annoying the crap out of me.

I really liked this episode. I had some problems with the last half of last season and the first episode of this one. But the last two episodes have been knocking it out of the park

Dio

"from the dream of a dude that was exceptionally good at animating fighting choreography" but it isn't good animation lol... It's really badly choreographed and animated, clunky 3D awfulness. It's no different from the nu-Berserk CLANG fights with awkward movements and badly directed camera angles. And "the voice actors and makers of this show are people that I personally like" doesn't really have anything to do with whether the actual show itself is good or not.

Fresh2mde

Hm from that answer i can tell you didn't watch the show at all. To say it's "badly choreographed" is only possible if you base your opinion on a post season 3 scene you may have randomly watched. Or maybe on nothing at all since you only talk about graphics. Anyway, if you really want to understand, try to watch it, otherwise just do as you like, but don't be surprised of being confused of people's opinions.

Dio

I've checked out random scenes from all over, and all of it just looks visually awful. Both movement and the 3D art style. And the plot was something straight out of a Naruto fanfic. It seems like its only redeeming factor is that it's in decent framerate, while 3D "anime" made by professional studios is in 12 fps for some reason. I don't need to watch entire episodes to be able to tell all of this.

Gustav Sulingga Wahrberg

You are entitled to your opinion but stating all scenes in the entire series are badly animated just from a few scattered scenes is pretty uncalled for. The animation in rwby is not the best, but there are scenes in the earlier volumes where Monty really show what he's made of. If you want a better one, try watching episode 2x5, the Pyrrha fight against Team CRDL. It's a pretty good fight, one of my favorites. Give it a watch, and if you don't like it, then fair enough.. Cheers!

Exaltedun Jesus you're one hateful piece of shit aren't you? It's fine to not like it, but to be this fucking hostile about it? Why are you so bothered by it?

Riru (〃^▽^〃)

@Exaltedun It's fine to not like the show, but why try to ruin someone else's enjoyment of it? Especially since you've stated that you don't even watch it. SOS brothers clearly like it and so did the person who made the comment that you replied to. You can criticize and start a conversation about RWBY's flaws but that's not what you're doing. You're just bashing it without acknowledging when it can get better or understanding why others like it. Your "criticism" is also nothing but name-calling in the playground with stuff like "cringey weaboo Naruto fanfic" or shallow comments about the animation. Frankly, it is just wholly unwelcome and annoying. Also very immature. Please spend your time doing something more productive than trolling people minding their own business on the internet.

I think the whole thing with Salem falling into the pit of darkness and turning evil was unnecessary. They could've cut that out and changed it to only her appearance changing and her character arc in the episode still would've made a lot of sense. Great reaction!

He can hate whatever he want but you gotta be literally be retarded to go hate comment on shows where people clearly love it and appreciate it since a long time, keep your opinion to yourself unless it's constructive. Like I don't go randomly hating on MHA just because I absolutely despise the whole heroes - marvel stupidity of nowadays etc.

Andres Lozano

I disagree. I know this is RWBY and everyone below 60s looks great but she has in a sense stopped aging along with immortality. Her thinking of jumping into a Dark Death pit makes sense and to me makes it a sadder turn. While she may have been devious beforehand she still had inhibitors on.

Andres Lozano

What i liked about her journey is that 80/90% of what happened to her were a result of her choices. Heck to me her still loving Ospin after seeing her turn into a Dark Sourceress made it more compelling to me.

Cade Paradis

it’s about time someone agreed with me that the 4 girls died in that fight

So guys, I have an interesting theory and hopefully you read this and atleast think about it too :p anyways. Did you notice that where the God of Light resides, the tree and the surroundings and especially the colour(bright orange/gold), all that is very similar to where the Vault for the relic was(Relic of Knowledge). So on to my theory, what if it is the pool of "light: or whatever you want to call it, what if Cinder fell in that magical water where we saw her wake up in Ep 2 and that is how she survived in the first place, I mean we all knew she wasnt dead or she somehow survived that fall but what if the water revived her and or even make her also immortal now too. The story doesnt have to be that but it could be because it does seem a liitle too over the top for the story unless theres a plan to just keep Cinder alive forever as well. Anyways let me know what you think whoever has read this :) and pleas eif you like it send the word out :p :)
