I hope for the show replacing Haikyuu, they don't make it a poll focusing on sports anime. Don't get me wrong, I def don't mind them but since we're already getting Ping Pong I would prefer more of a range of choices

TBH, i'd have liked to see Hajime no Ippo replacing Haikyuu anyway... but if not, then maybe Durarara? It's lovely, complicated and crazy!

Durarara is great. If it appear in the poll I would vote for it.

Catn remember exactly when it happens but SoS bros, the voice actor for Ukai passed away during the last episodes. Just a lill note in case you wonder about it when you hear the difference. love you!

Ukai's voice actor has his last line during episode 8. The new voice comes in for episodes 9 and 10.

There was a translation error in this episode. It was Ennoshita, not Kinoshita, who created the strategy of going deep in the middle to save any balls that fly out all the way to the back (in the Wakunan match). They used the same strategy here with Asahi this time. Also, I could see how you'd think Oikawa is secretly rooting for Karasuno, but it seems more like headcanon to me (which is fine since I also have a lot of personal headcanons lol). I genuinely think Oikawa's petty enough to be sincerely pissed at either of them winning lol What Iwaizumi said was "You're a really crappy guy," not "You're full of crap." I don't think Oikawa would ever be proud of Kageyama, since I don't think he considers him a pupil at all, but at most, he respects his abilities while being insanely salty about it lol That's just how I interpret his character. Your interpretation sounds interesting though haha

agreed lmao, Oikawa's the biggest salt shaker in this series this side of Tsukki. His reactions to the game give me life

march comes in like a lion too, it's glorious <3

definitely agreed! Oikawa acknowledges both Kageyama and Ushijima as geniuses with natural talent, so instead of rooting for one or the other he just wants to crush them both lol. though tbh I can't really fault him for it? Imagine having to deal with the stress of these two walls that have been closing in from both sides throughout middle school AND high school during such a pivotal developmental age. It's actually pretty amazing that he's never given up and instead, chooses to persevere (petty attitude and all, but that has never affected the strength of his conviction so we love him for it xD). Also, he technically DID "loosen the jar" for Karasuno in general by actually giving Kageyama that food for thought convo about his toss vs Hinata's desires as a spiker in season 2!

Didn't get to watch the reaction yesterday, but I think it's worth mentioning how exactly Oikawa got the glasses in canon: he was out in the mall, thinking about his future, and he got so caught up with it that he thought some girls were actually consultants, not random customers, he ended up in an awkward situation and kind of bought the glasses to save some embarrassment. I absolutely love it. (The girls thought he was a weirdo and hurriedly left him alone lol.)
