It's finally here! I have been waiting months for this episode. I can confidently say that this was one of my favorite Monster episodes because of Dieter's journey coming full circle and the moment in the library with Johan. Many people may not like Dieter or actively hate his character, but his character development cemented him as my favorite anime, child side-character of all time. What other series has done a 180 like this with a child's outlook on life so well? He turned from an introverted character who was actively avoiding strangers into a kid confident enough to actively seek out another kid in need to help that person recover. Loved the reaction and the discussion!
