Because the subtitles change names for copyright reasons, you may not have caught this, but the new characters are Dire, Straits, and Tonpetty. Dire Straits, and Tom Petty.

to be fair, these aren't really changes from the Japanese, it's not until Part 3 that the copyright stuff starts really effecting names, I think there is only one name change in Part 2(the alleged censoring of a curtain 3 names is just English speaking fanboys thinking that the things those names are so obviously referencing was what they were literally called, when that was not the case).

Hey boy.. You should know that JoJo characters are based on band and song names. Zeppeli = Led Zepplin. Rober E O Speedwagon = the band REO Speedwagon. -And there are many more.

Not to mention Dio is named after the band DIO or more specifically, Ronnie James Dio

The pacing of the end of part 1 is a bit rocky, but after that there will be pure awesomeness.
