Progress for Usagi's legs (Patreon)

Hey guys!

I've been working on the project and so far, it's been a good challenge to reposition the legs on Usagi but I was able to pull it off.

At first I used some epoxy putty but it took wayyyy to long to harden, so I did the other leg with polyester putty as it hardens in roughly 30 minutes max.

I decided on a position where she would look like she's floating backwards or the wind blowing from behind her, how ever you like to see her :P

At this point, it looks uneven, but trust me, putty saves everything and I will add some to both legs to even out the leg part with the butt :)

Although I do have to say that she looks like she has some sort of dipper on xD

I said that she would be a tasteful nude, so non of her bits will be visible or her nips, the censoring won't be as blatant as the original naked Usagi I'm using the head for this project, I honestly felt that that version looked so awkward >.<

I'm not really bothering to sand anything at this time because I like to advance as much as possible and leave the detailing for later.

It was a pain to reposition the legs because I had to work without any pegs to connect them and have them stay put in the same position, that's why I used some tape to keep the legs where I wanted, I did use some temp pins but they were also somewhat troublesome, but the pieces still swiveled >.> in between all the shenanigans I managed to install a square polystyrene rode to act as the peg.

Worked perfectly! I wanted to continue doing the other leg but it was late and I had to continue working the next day so I left it at that.

While the putty on her legs was curing, I decided to play with the wings, at first I though about carving the details but as you can observe, it looks weird and kinda cartoony, so I got more of that epoxy putty and smeared a thin layer of the a feather and sculpted the details, I liked how that looked way better than trying to carve it in. So now I'll have to take all the feathers and do the same.

But before I do that, I'll need to heat bend the wings so it looks like they're cradling Usagi's body, not too much, just slightly, so I'll take that little experiment off and do it again because I won't be able to bend it if I add the epoxy first, it will just crack or break :S

This is how the wings look but I want them to be in a semi circle position.

That's what I've managed to squeeze in for this update, but I hope I can get more done in the coming weeks to show you guys :D

I also will be uploading a raw vlog type video for my recruits and sniffers! A more in detail explanation of things over there along with some personal though and all :)
