PUBLIC RELEASE: The Sims 4 Trip To Egypt World Mod (Patreon)

Welcome to Dakarai!

This mod transforms the world of StrangerVille into a modern-day Egyptian inspired world. Travel to a thriving city that recently started out modernizing their town with new skyscrapers. Will you be living near the Dakarai Plaza or do you prefer a more secluded life on the Dakarai Hills? The whole mod pack comes with a full set of Maxis Match custom content that you can easily find by searching for "Trip To Egypt" in the search bar. There's also some new floors and a new wallpaper!

This project has been a massive one and probably my biggest one so far! The development time took about 3 months and wouldn't have been possible thanks to my patrons and help from some friends to make this mod a full experience!

Features:

Notes:

Required Packs: StrangerVille, Island Living, Get Famous, Eco Lifestyle

Recommended Packs:  Jungle Adventures

The mod doesn't come with new lots, meaning you'll have to manually remove/replace the lots from StrangerVille to get the full experience! The name of the world is still going to appear as "StrangerVille", however there's tutorials on how to change that manually for each save on YouTube.

INSTALLATION:

1. Download ONE Version from down below and open the ZIP-File called "Trip To Egypt Modpack"

2. Put the folder called "Trip To Egypt" into your mods folder.

3. Open your installation folder of The Sims 4, within Origin. Usually it's something like " C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4" 

4. Open the folder "Delta", then "GP07", then "Worlds" and then "Areas"

5. Make a backup of your files in that folder and then place down and replace the old files called "GP07_Downtown_01" and "GP07_Outskirts_01" with the new ones in the "Areas" folder. (Note: With each update for The Sims 4 you will have to repeat this step as this file gets updated and replaced with each update.)

6. Boot up the game and enjoy! 

7. To disable weird sims running around and the StrangerVille story mode please type  "tm.togglestory" in your cheat console. (Story Toggle Mod by @TwistedMexi)
