First of all the entire sequence is done for the right hand.. as far as finger animation.  It took extra time because I was also finalizing her final body surface because that needs to be there for the fingers to come into contact with.  And it looks FANTASTIC by the way.  I think this will be my best work.

Anyway..  I would prefer to lick 30 grit sandpaper for a week than to do that all over again for her left hand.. So I experimented with a way to automate this somehow.   Pain... Such pain.  But after hours of pulling my hair I have a workable solution.  In the attached clip only the index finger is working.   I have to do that for the other digits.  The workflow is ridiculous, but it works and it will be faster than hand-animating all of this.

Ultimately the fingers on her right hand will be better than the fingers of her left hand because her right hand animation was manually animated.  But you know what they say..  A bird in the hand is worth waiting for the other guy to make the first move in the right direction of night is just a heartbeat away from true enlightenment.  Or something like that.  Fuck it, I'm tired.
