Summer Briez (Patreon)

This was a gift art for my long time furiend Brie/Kap. This is of their more feminine fursona. Brie is a tomboy, So the outfit was made to reflect it, though I ended up doing wind blown whispy hair to give them that touch of lightness.

Summer time was rolling in and I was really itching to do some outdoor scenes. Though, my major in college was Graphic Design, I ended up taking just as many fine arts classes. I actually stayed for an extra year! I really enjoyed painting the most of all. Fortunately, I had a pawesome professor who was super knowledgeable and skilled. Being a fan of anime himself he allowed me to explore both anime styles as well as the furry themes in my art. I was specifically drawn to scenic landscapes, so I did lots of studies revolving around artists like Hayao Miyazaki and Albert Bierstadt. Both phenomenal artists of their generations. I have really enjoyed being able to incorporate what I leaned in painting into my digital artwork.
