Anti-stagnation plans (Patreon)

Tl;dr - Should I only do NSFW (adult) art on this patreon or would you be interested in partly supporting SFW/growth art (full clothed pics, funny doodles, silly comics, studies etc.)? Please vote honestly.

As my patreon has grown into my main source of income, so has the pressure to live up to the expectations that producing content on this platform over a long period of time brings.

This has brought two issues: 

• I don't really draw anything that's not hardcore adult art anymore (Causing artistic stagnation)
  
• I don't take many risks with my art (More artistic stagnation)

Hardcore adult art is enjoyable to draw, but if it's the only thing you do you're missing out on a lot of rich knowledge that could elevate everything you do (including NSFW art) to new heights. Some of my favorite adult artists are knowledgeable in way more subjects than the human body, so I've started to feel that doing more SFW art is vital for my growth.

On the same line, taking any kind of risk with art (Such as doing a complex piece in an elaborate setting or trying a new style) may pay off and help one grow, but the consequences of failing multiple times (which is bound to happen with worthwhile risks) may cause the slow loss of my livelihood, which I cannot allow.

Therefore I can guarantee you all that this patreon will continue to steadily bring you the art you want, it's the backbone of my livelihood so I won't be playing dice with it.

But I must still keep an eye on the wider picture since I believe stagnation is a long-term death sentence. I must make time to grow too, but how do I go about it?

I've come up with two ways:

• If the great majority of patrons want to, I can start including SFW, risk taking pieces & studies into the updates (Don't really expect the majority to be into it...)
  
• I make a secondary patreon for SFW art & studies (You could use Coills to get these updates if you want to too).

At the moment I think having a SFW/Growth patreon is probably the cleanest solution, I'd be able to dedicate some much needed time to growing while everyone can choose which kind of art they want to support.

And hey, if I make lewd comics I could keep the story heavy sections on the SFW Patreon and the lewd ones in the NSFW Patreon, I've heard patrons don't really enjoy supporting the story sections in adult comics so this could resolve that issue too.
