My Uncle Dan died suddenly last week. Gazing at his lifeless body in the open casket made me realize something. Time is running out…

Uncle Dan played guitar and used to lend me his nylon string during summer vacation growing up. I showed him a meme I created recently about practicing to get better, instead of buying a new guitar. He said, “you have to send that to me scotty!” Even at age 77, he was still interested in modern culture

The truth is, you don’t have forever to accomplish your dreams. Without a plan, our lives become overtaken by chaos and disorder. Here‘s 3 ways to get what you want before time runs out

1. Have A Plan

Most people aimlessly stumble through life hoping they’ll get lucky, or someone else will accomplish their will for them. The 2nd law of thermodynamics makes this impossible. Accomplishing our goals is like swimming upstream. You must bend nature to your will, or be swept away. Write down what you want and believe it can be done in your mind

2. Take Action

Having a plan is worthless if you don’t act. The crazy thing is, most people know what they need to do…they just don’t do it. For example, if you want to gain followers on social media, you need to post. The reality is most people aren’t even playing the game, so it’s not that hard to score

3. Acknowledge Gains

Always celebrate progress towards your goals, no matter how small. Acknowledging our gains gives us the emotional strength to continue striving to reach the next level.

Below is the perfect practice plan to ignite your guitar gains. My Ultimate Guitar Workout uses the Andalusian Cadence chord progression to target a variety of techniques. Learn one line per day and take your time. Spend 20 minutes  with this monster etude everyday and you’ll be blown away by the results!

I’ll be turning 40 this October, which reminds me that time is wearing thin in my own life. Soon I’ll be in a casket ⚰️ too. I choose to be inspired by death. If no one ever died, life would have no value. Now is the time to make your move

Sorry for your loss Shred. You mentioned in your post " if no one ever died, life would have no value". I never 🤔 thought about it like that. It's definitely something to ponder over.
