After extension deliberation, I’ve decided to start a steroid cycle….for guitar

Making consistent  progress on guitar isn’t easy.
How can we INJECT our efforts with real results? Overtime we begin to feel unmotivated, causing our inspiration to evaporate. Whats the point of trying when it’s no longer fun?

🛑It all starts by delaying practice until the end of the day. The truth is, there’s only so much energy one can expend in a 24 hour period. Stressful situations at work, dealing with toxic relationships and even consuming excessive media leave us feeling drained and unable to tackle additional tasks

🛑Moving your practice routine to the beginning of the day puts an end to this vicious cycle. Your brain and body are freshly charged, ready to conquer new challenges. Striving towards your goals is a sacred ritual, nourishing the soul and lifting your mood throughout the day. The portal to inspiration is reopened, leaving you electrified with passion. Your new progress becomes so obvious, it’s like you’re on guitar steroids!

Nothing good in life happens without a concrete plan of attack though. Just getting excited to change your life is futile without specific action steps

Attached below is a 25 minute practice program. Topics include, warm up, chords, scales, improvising, music theory, learning songs and rhythms. I’ve put a time limit on each section to keep you moving along. Use a metronome, Play along to the backing track, or better yet, get GUITAR PRO and customize each exercise. Record a phone video of one exercise in particular every day at the end of your session. It‘s crucial that you measure what you’re doing to maximize results. Don’t forget to celebrate your successes with a handsome reward and enjoy the nee you!
