James Hetfield was some kind of monster the first time he picked up guitar

FALSE!!!

🛑The building behind me wasn’t constructed overnight. It took months, even years to complete. Truth is, Metallica’s frontman had to put in the work, just like the rest of us. It’s easy to get frustrated with our rate of progress. Why am I stuck playing the same things on guitar? Where’s my motivation to practice?  Suddenly, you lose inspiration and it’s been a month since you last fingered the g string

🛑We must remove barriers to release our full potential. Lack of sleep, bad diet, no exercise. Toxic relationships, crushing expectations from family and friends. Negative online interactions. It’s easy to get thrown off course, completing someone else’s plan for your life. Maybe you’re feeling unfocused, stuck, or just plain lost. Negative emotions sap your strength, reducing your abilities to a mere shadow of peak potential.

🛑Getting what YOU want is an intentional process that wont happen by accident. Follow a program and be consistent to unlock your inner monster. For example, set aside time to practice every morning. 20-30 minutes of zero distractions yields massive results. Target key areas you’d like to improve. Scales, chords, technique and learning riffs. Don’t take on too much, or set unrealistic goals. Just bite off a small chunk and reward yourself for completing each task. Establishing a positive emotional connection between TRAINING and RESULTS is the fastest way to become a shred lord

⭐️A great program to follow is my music theory for guitarists course below. Anyone at the $10 tier and above has access. This is my best and most complete training routine, teaching how to read music, intervals, keys, scales, chords, modes, counterpoint and so much more!
