That Sportster Dude has submitted his phrygian dominant riff

A tasty riff with nice interval sequences

Our ears hear this as E Harmonic minor (E-F#-G-A-B-C-D#)  because of the E pedal. If he were to focus on "B" as the root note, it would sound more phrygian dominant. Phrygian dominant and harmonic minor are related scales, with phrygian dominant being built on the 5th degree of the harmonic minor scale.
