This package is about helping you become a fluent composer and riff lord using concepts like Harmonic Minor and Phrygian Dominant Scales, the 3 types of Augmented 6th Chords, Neapolitan Chords, Secondary Dominants, Secondary Diminished 7th Chords, Cadential 6/4 Chords, Counterpoint and much more. The goal is to learn how to apply these ideas in your guitar solos, licks and riffs. May the evil power of these past composers elevate you to Neoclassical mastery muhahaha!

Players like Randy Rhoads, Marty Friedman and Yngwie Malmsteen have successfully adapted ideas from classical composers into the modern metal vernacular. In this lesson we'll study the harmonic compositional techniques composers like Bach, Beethoven and Mozart used to create their masterworks.
