C Word Lesson | Counterpoint For Metal Guitar (Patreon)

I'm working on a counterpoint lesson to be released later this week. Here's a teaser on the 4 types of contrapuntal motion lord Bach used. 

Parallel Motion: (two voices moving in the same direction and same interval)

Similar Motion: (two voices moving in the same direction but with varied intervals)

Contrary Motion: (two voices moving in opposite directions) 

Oblique Motion: (one voice stays the same while the other voice moves around) You could also think of this as pedal point. 

The full lesson will show you how to make evil riffs and licks with counterpoint as well.
