In this short sequence of licks, I outline a neoclassical chord progression. I get a lot of questions about how to write a solo. Using a chord progression is one of the best ways to construct a killer solo. The imposed limitations inspire creativity in artists. I'm also employing technique variation to mix things up and not sound repetitive. Sweep picking, pull offs, alternate picking finger tapping etc. The etude is in Am, employing compositional harmonic devices like secondary dominants and harmonic minor primary chords.

I'm liking all the different techniques used here. Some of these will be great for warming up as well. Looking forward to learning some chord progressions.
