The Viennese Trichord is a demonically dissonant chord popularized by composers in the second Viennese school. Anton Webern, a contemporary of Arnold Schoenberg is pictured above. So what is this scary chord? It's the root, m2 and tritone...for instance, starting on C, the Viennese Trichord would be spelled, C-C#-F#. I've included the tab, as well as each inversion below.
