Sweep Picking Sacrilege

This video is about sweep picking. Using the Cannon In D progression, I've imposed a sacrilegious series of arpeggios to focus on the infamous technique. The pattern I'm using is derived from the D form of the CAGED system, With an added 9th for good measure. The resulting lick is an 11 tuplet, or 11 notes in the space of 8. In other words, it's a lot of f****** notes! Use successive downstrokes as you ascend and upstrokes as you descend. Use the backing track and metronome to work the lick up to speed.
