The twins were ordinary civilians living in Warsaw at the time of the incident. A powerful and dangerous spirit broke free from its corporate summoner and chose to wreak havoc across the city killing or severely injuring hundreds.
Ola and Olga were unlucky enough to be caught in its path. After a prolonged hospital stay, they realized that the corporation responsible for unleashing the spirit had covered up the incident. Enraged that those responsible for the twins' injuries had gotten away with it, Ola and Olga turned to the shadows to get what they're owed.
