I made a few different colours of the dress, and then there is one version with an unlit fire place.

If you didn't know then I'm from Scandinavia and of course know a bunch about my country's history, the medieval ages and how they lived.

So here is a take on what it could have looked like if Vikings liked tickling and had tickle sessions. The setting is a common langhus (direct translation: Longhouse).

I have visited a bunch of different reconstructions of this specific type of house which was popular around year 800 in Denmark. One end would often be a stable and the other end would be housing. What you can see on my drawing is the very end where they would typically sleep. A big fire in the middle would heat up the area, smoke coming out of a hole in the roof. Beds were built along the wall and they slept on fur/leather/hide. A lot of the house was built by wood but some villages used a mixture of hay, clay and dirt to isolate the walls.
