Look above for some more fanart commissioned by Argo the Ratfolk! This one was apparently inspired by a joke from Rebellions during a TLS stream.

Anyway, now that TLS 0.73.x is finally out (and thankfully without any major issues reported) we need to have another post about the finale updates. I'm happy to report that I'm deep into that work - there's a lot, but we're the equivalent of a week or two in, not just starting now.

That said, I do admit to a certain level of... perhaps "apprehension" is the best word. I've always been leading up to a big final battle and so many elements of the game are support for it, so I wouldn't say I'm intimidated, but it's still a lot to tackle. The end of a story is essential, and even though there will be updates beyond the final battle, this sequence has to stick the landing.

Over the course of the years I've been working on TLS, there have been so many details. As many as I have integrated, I'm concerned there will be others that got lost in my notes and just aren't included. During the open world dev period someone reminded me of a variable I had forgotten about, for example. Are there even bigger pieces that will fall through the cracks until people reach the conclusion and realize they're absent?

I know expectations are varying degrees of high. If you've been enjoying TLS up to this point, I'm hopeful that you'll enjoy the conclusion I've been working toward all this time. But whew, I find myself thinking about Mass Effect and hoping I can live up to everyone's expectations. >_<

Almost out of time. The dev period will take a while yet, because it's a major sequence, but I'm in the future relative to you guys, so I feel like I'm barreling toward the ending.

I love the comics, they are so just damn fun. Unrelated, someone reported an oddity (it's not a bug per se, I think) in the Discord: https://discord.com/channels/896059111106551859/896275409170223144/1219465833622011994 It seems that the upgraded version of the Mother's Pin (198 in the game database) resists Profound Sexbind but not regular Sexbind. Is that intended? (BTW, this have been in the wiki for quite awhile but nobody caught it :embarrassed:).

I think I've found a little issue with Vhala's Request (finally just got there after starting a new playthrough for 0.73) The interaction with Yelarel seems like it's set up to give you differing bonuses for investing in the Succubus Holy Knights depending on which church scenario you're in (succubi accepted, church diverged, new religion). However, it only lets you access the Succubus Knight bonus rewards if the Succubus Knights were accepted at Gawnfall. Unfortunately, it's only possible to get the Succubus Knights Accepted at Gawnfall in the Succubi Accepted scenario, as that issue is replaced with the Inquisition concerns in the Church Diverged scenario, and the Flexible Purity Standard in the New Religion scenario. Not sure if this is a bug where you're checking the wrong switch, or if there's supposed to be some other way to get the Succubus Knights accepted at Gawnfall...

Took me a while to look into this, sorry. I think the most likely reason is that I forgot how the switches interacted, so there are unnecessary/inaccessible alternatives on the second page of that event.
