We've heard countless stories about bluetooth headphones getting disconnected in the gym or at home but what other scenarios have cropped up?

I'll start...not necessarily that bad but a close shave kinda story...

Back in late 2021 or early 2022 or so, I was editing a Mr. Shaw audio (putting the SFX in it) at my parent's place. Started feeling tired and decided to go snooze for half an hour. Pause the audio, leave the laptop in a discreet corner, barely open where no one can see anything, kept Garageband open as it was being fucky at that time and I didn't want to lose the work due to some dumb error and left the bluetooth on to make sure in case something did happen it would play quietly in the headphones.

Went to go upstairs to have a nap whilst my mum and my nephew are doing a jigsaw puzzle in the room next to the lounge where the laptop is. About 10 minutes in, I'm not quite asleep, still rolling over in bed but I'm hearing a guy's voice from somewhere, it's loud. I'm like 'what the fuck is that? There's no other guy in the house at the moment besides me and my nephew.'

I realise after about 10 seconds it's Mr. Shaw's voice so bolt it downstairs and slam the laptop shut just before he starts getting into some dirtier stuff. Somehow it had disconnected the headphones but still kept playing and yeah if I'd gone to sleep it could have ended up in a pretty interesting discussion in the kitchen afterwards.

I was feeling pretty spicy at work one day, so I grabbed my ear buds and opened Patreon. But nothing was working. Turns out, my phone was connecting with my co workers ear buds. Thankfully she didn't have them in her ears and we were early enough in the audio that I didn't have to explain myself!

Oh geez, just remembering this time gives me ptsd. (​꒦ິꈍ​​꒦ິ) Anywho, one afternoon, my sister and best friend were hanging out, and we started talking about like hobbies and things we've been into recently. At this time I had only just found out about BKS so obviously had to tell the girlie's about this new found treasure. Cause the other day I'd borrowed my dad's car and forgot to disconnect or change the settings to switch over to his phone, and I guess my earbuds lost power at some point in the night. So naturally you know.... the next device available for me phone to connect to was... surprise surprise! My dad's car! ૮₍ ꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ ₎ა luckily though thanks to my beloved sister! My partner in crime, my confidant, my mvp of this moment. She herd the first few seconds of the audio, luckily just the set up before the juicy parts. And instantly disconnected my phone. Omg.... I had no clue that my bedroom was that close to the car! Goddamn! But yeah! Last time I forget to disconnect my phone! (╹∀◠)

I was listening to a BKS audio early through my AirPods in bed on a Sunday morning. My little brother borrowed my car to get his workout in while he was visiting. My phone auto Bluetooths to my car when it’s started. I was at a really intense spot in the audio when I heard my car start and the auto cut out from my headphones. 5-10 seconds before I realized and disconnected the Bluetooth function. My brother came back inside laughing at me and to grab his water bottle. I was mortified 😂😂

It was not so much listening. I was getting a VA to make a recording for me. I have anxiety and poems have been something that helps me. A good soothing voice and poetry go hand in hand for me. He thought he was far enough away from the house when leaving for school, but they connected to MY phone while I was listening to a Robinson audio and all he heard was moans and dirty talk.
