Middle Card: Titan Bodies The body of every Titan varies significantly, but each has a weak spot of height 1 meter and width 10 cm at their nape, corresponding to the size of a human's spinal cord through to their brain. When severed, this area ruins a Titan's regenerative ability and results in their destruction. It is thought that this vital organ, the source of their being, is none other than a human inside.

The opening changes starting episode 50 that one is full of spoilers so avoid it till last few episodes of season 3. They need to cut a big chunk of titans nape guns aren't gonna do the job.

I don’t mind you making guesses! This is a show that’s fun to do that with, and definitely one you will want to rewatch after finishing because you won’t believe how much you missed the first time around. There were so many hints that we all missed and we were supposed to, but man. It’s fascinating. Also yaaaaaay Levi’s back in action! Probably one of the many reasons I love this season so much, more Levi and Jean. And I agree about Levi’s voice actor in the dub. My first watch it was Erwin’s voice I was addicted to. Second watch it was Levi’s. Both so good. You made a Your Mom joke! 😂 I’m so glad I’m not the only one who still does that. I am hyped for season 3 with you! 🙌

I am a little getting fed up with the trend of avoiding spoilersto the extreme. Storytellers sometimes do leak a sliver of the future to the reader intentionally. You wouldn't black out the "spoiler parts" of a Stephen King novel.

I think they explained it in season 1, but the reason they don't use guns is because they aren't powerful enough to get deep into the nape. They won't penetrate enough and the titans would just regenerate. When they were trying to take back the supply depot in episode 8, they mentioned that the rifles would be enough to blind them but not to kill them.

Yeah. Even if they penetrate I don't think that would be enough. You need something powerful enough to remove a whole chunk at once or crush the whole nape (like when Eren stepped on a Titan's nape in ep 7 or 8).
