Happy Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I..... Omg when I originally went to go watch it I didn't see a title between Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows and FREAKED OUT I thought I was jumping straight into the final movie and skipped one or something LOL but this movie really gave you this feeling of impending doom and the beginning of the end. I felt quite a bit tense nearing the end of the film and now that I'm going into the last Harry Potter movie.... I'm very nervous. I hate ending sagas and I really grew to love Harry Potter and all its characters. It feels like you've watched them grow and grown alongside them (if only I watched it growing up, it would be a much more intense feeling I'm sure). But thank you for staying with me for all of this friends. I truly hope you've been enjoying, and have a wonderful rest of your days/evenings:)

Vee, I finished the harry potter reactions last night, I loved them. I havent seen these since they came out. But tell me why I have never seen the Dursleys leaving deleted scene until today, I'm crying!

Just to pile on, Ginny is so much more of a presence in the books. I can see why you'd feel the way you do but for anyone that's read the books we just fill in the gaps in our heads when we see some of these scenes. The movies are just elaborate illustrated versions of the books. Like reading a classic novel that's been adapted to a comic book form.

I feel like, aside from Ginny, someone else was done dirty in this. This film specifically. There is a deleted scene between Harry and Dudley. You should check it out - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzkDRz8quKo I would love if you reacted to it, but even if you watch it on your own instead, you deserve to see this.

So there is more to the Harry Potter world. First, there is another story, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Its only in theater/play form atm. Then there is the Fantastic Beasts films which are set in a much earlier time period, a few years shortly after World War 1. Then there is a cast reunion show on HBO Max and a Harry Potter Hogwarts House Trivia Tournament series also on HBO Max. Then you have the amusement parks if you are so inclined, I hear the prices there are ridiculous though. To me, this is clearly a "get all the pieces in place for the last film" kinda film. Plus, this film did a great job rounding all the edges of lore and loopholes and left out info, I feel. A solid setup for the final film. J.K. did come out afterwards and say she thinks the love interest/couple pairing wasn't perfect. But I disagree. Although they aren't typical pairings we see here in the big films in the states, I feel they are more realistic pairings of how people gravitate and fall in and out of relationships, especially in mid-to-late teen years, and with a small size of date-able options for kids in a wizarding school. I can't really tell you about all the things missing from the film that are in the book since its split into 2 parts but I can catch you up on things from previous stories that cropped up here, lol. The Mirror Piece. This piece of mirror was given to Harry back in the 5th book by Sirius Black. It was a way to talk to each other instead of using owls and fireplaces like they were using, lol. The mystery now, with Sirius dead, who is the face we saw in the mirror and when Harry begged for help, Dobby showed up. So whomever it is, had access to Dobby. The Radio. The radio is actually an invention from Ron's Dad. It is tuned to the channel 'Potterwatch', which only this radio can receive. It was a device used by the Order of the Phoenix to communicate with each other in the form of a radio station that keeps up-to-date news on what's really happening. In the deleted scenes we see a couple loose ends get tied up but aren't overall important to the plot, but are touching though. Harry and Aunt Petunia speak before the Dursleys leave. Not overly loving but also not as mean as all the other interactions we have seen. And Harry and Dudley actually part ways in a friendly manner too. Dudley tells Harry that he isn't a 'waste of space' and Harry says "Thanks, Big D". They shake hands and part ways. Also in the deleted scenes, it turns out Hermione did the right thing to her parents. Death Eaters come to the house but they find that the Grangers have packed up and moved away. Mysteries this film created, who created the Patronus Doe that led Harry and Ron to the Sword of Gryffindor? We have seen the Cloak of Invisibility and the Elder Wand but where is the Resurrection Stone? Why didn't Draco speak up about recognizing Harry, Hermione and Ron? I did have a gripe about Bellatrix in this story. Why did Bellatrix flip out when she saw the sword? Okay, she had the sword in her vault in Gringotts. But the legend with the sword is that it magically appears to any worthy Gryffindor. The literal magic of the sword is that it transports at its own will. Goblins made the sword to do exactly that. Even a bank vault designed by goblins wouldn't stop the sword because goblins designed the sword to teleport at will, lol. Why would anyone that knows about the sword think it wouldn't disappear eventually? Bellatrix is crazy and sadistic, she just never seemed ignorant as well until then. Like she's upset that a powerful magical artifact does the thing the powerful magical artifact is designed to do, lol. Bellatrix be trippin' lol.

A fine and thoughtful reaction, Ms K. Despite comments to the reverse, I still feel you'd find much enjoyment from the prequels. 'nuf said. Of interest from this movie: the site on the southwest coast of Wales where Dobby's burial was filmed has been turned into a memorial by the fandom. Some YouTubers have footage.

ginny was done dirty in the films. she was cool as shit in the books. i love the movies so much but if i could change one thing it would be how they wrote ginny in so bland with no chemistry

one I thing I wish they didn't leave out of the film is Peter's moment of regret. Spoiler Alert if you intend to read the book and find out yourself!**** * * * * * * He was grabbing hold of Harry/Ron when Harry reminded him that he had let him lived once and owed him, which made Peter relax his grip. That moment of vulnerability and betrayal to Voldemort caused his own silver hand to strangle himself to death.

I always thought the sword would only magically appeared out of the sorting hat, which if I remembered correctly belongs to Godric Griffindor, as a kind of the magician's rabbit out of the hat trick. But you want to obtain it physically (i.e picking it up), you must do it in a way that show true bravery and courage.

One word: Shoelace. Book Ginny is far superior to her movie counterpart.

This movie is still my favorite. There's a good amount of great character moments in Pt 2 as well, but this film is essentially completing everyone's character arch almost to completion, which is why I love it so much. They're just so isolated and it's like for the first time we really good to KNOW the golden trio outside of how they act in school. One detail which I loved in the book was how the fact that they often didn't have food meant they were often at each other's throats, and when they DID have food, their friendships were much more joyous. Just the act of eating makes for a happier time. They're at 95% their full character potential, and they've mostly conquered their demons, now they just have to conquer the outside world's demons. Great reaction.

Jenny was screwed over in the films. In the books their relationship is much more apparent and she has a much bigger role. Mudblood is impure blood. A full blood who has mixed with a normal Human.

Could any one explain why my copy from HBO Max does not sync up with hers? It's litteraly the same movie
