Hello, everyone!

For the first time in a long time, I actually post a Progress Report that isn't written in the middle of the early hours of the morning! You must know it's a been a good week!

And indeed, if the giant wall of fucking that is the image for this post hasn't suggested it, it has been a very good week indeed!

Last week's Progress Report had me roughly sketch out the plan for production. It involved 2.5 weeks building the core animations, plus half a week for building the climax animations. Well, I managed to get all of the core animations done as of earlier this morning, so technically less than a full week! Indeed, Wednesday saw me make five animations in one sitting, and I was able to average two animations for the rest of the week. Some days more, some days less.

But the important thing is, I've gotten all 13 core animations built (plus Symmetra in the stripped clip straight-up jorkin it, and by it haha well let's just say, her peanits). I also managed to break pattern a bit (for the sake of having something to show) and put together the first 50 seconds of the rough narrative pass, which was posted over on Twitter.

If you want to see the animations in all their individual glory, you can click here to view them all!

Seeing how integrated into the narrative the climax animations are, I've decided that I am going to jump straight into building out the rest of the narrative sequence, and build the climax animations as they come up. Which means that next week's Progress Report should have a few minutes of sequential animation to show for it.

I'm not going to move my projections forward, though. Last week's progress report estimated 7 weeks of production time, and I'm standing by that for now. As of right now, I am still eyeballing a mid-August release. If things happen to get done faster, great! But I am not going to crunch myself (or the other people involved in this project) to get there.

That's all for now! Until next week, everyone!
