Hello everyone.

Last week, I made a note of how I wanted to get some feedback on the current state of the Overbreed Episode 1 running WIP. And that is exactly what today's post is for.

I am specifically looking for feedback on one thing: pacing.

I want to hear any and all thoughts people have on the pacing. I want to know if you think there are any parts that:

  • Go on for too long

  • Should go on for longer

  • Should be revised with different sequences to change how it flows

  • Should be removed completely

  • Should be added because they don't exist

  • Should be moved to somewhere else in the video

Because remember, not only is this currently 24:27 minutes long, but it's 24:27 minutes long and not even finished yet.

And not only is it 24:27 minutes long and not even finished yet, it's 24:27 minutes long and not even finished yet and is only the third part of the full video. Yeah, that's right. This isn't even the full video - this is the back end of the whole thing.

If you want to know how the rest of the video goes, I have a storyboard for that. Parts of it will likely be rewritten (I really don't like how the dominatrix sequence goes in particular), but all of the major story beats will likely be kept.

That's right, the storyboard is 30:59 and is only parts 1 and 2. It ends right where this animation begins. Which means you can sum up the 30:59 of the storyboard and the 24:27 of this WIP to get a total of 55:26 runtime. And it'll be even longer than that, because again, this WIP isn't even finished yet.

As I stated last week, the reason why I am looking for this feedback is because of the prolonged development of this project. It's been in on-and-off production for 3 years, including a very long hiatus where my stream schedule crashed into my main schedule, and I had to spend the better part of a year trying to sort out the wreckage and get my schedule back on track.

Combine that with the handful of rewrites I've had to do from my original script, due to poses not working on technical levels, and I fear I may have lost the plot. When I write by the seat of my pants, things tend to meander, and I want to keep this project on a tight schedule. I don't want anything to drag on.

I don't want the video to be boring.

And for that, I need new eyes looking on it. As many fresh pairs as I can manage. And I need them to be honest with their opinions on it all. I need you to be honest with your opinions on it all. You're paying for the privilege of watching me work on this, both with your money but also with your time. You deserve nothing than the very best I can offer you. So help me make exactly that.

You can drop your feedback, if you have any, directly in the comments here. You can message me them privately over Patreon. You can send them to me over Twitter DMs. You can share them in the #wips section of my Discord server. You can send them to me over Discord DMs. Hell, you can even email them to me. Whatever works best for you.

I've made a fair bit of progress on the video since last week, but I am focusing this week's post on this open call for feedback. Next week's Progress Report, which will be the last one for this development sprint before I shift gears to making a video you all can actually watch in a reasonable timeframe, will contain the full details on the progress made between last week and then.

That's all for now. Until next week ,everyone!
