I watched this episode Friday and was so eager to see your reaction. Kyoshi is so bad ass. I'm glad they wove in elements of her comic

I was really hoping the episode would end with Zuko and Jhao having an Agni Kai like they did in the cartoon. Mostly so we could see Iroh show off his power by shutting down Jhao's dishonorable attack at the end of the duel.

Watching this (again) with you atm & the Kyoshi scenes made me think of this as if your favourite band never did a certain song live but you're watching a Tribute band and they're doing THAT song, & it's FKN INCREDIBLE!! & for that alone (& all the other b-sides & cover versions this 'ATLA Tribute band' is doing) I'm more than happy. And to think, you said you didn't expect to cry much again yet this caused tears of sorrow, happiness & out of sheer exhilaration. P.s gimme that Kyoshi soundtrack asap pls. 🤘🤘

Excuse My Brains

Even in the cartoon, Aang could channel past avatars. Of course he only did it once in Avatar Day where Kyoshi took over his body and confessed to murder. Also, shame you don't have the audio books, you could live react to them. Either way I hope you do post your thoughts on the books! Yangchen is my favorite Avatar, though I liked the Kyoshi books more than the Yangchen books.
