Remember when you asked in the second episode after a two second flashback something like: Why did she just kill a blond version of herself? (Not only blond, but also blue eyes!) After that, she looked down to the tattoo on her arm, which has a single dot. And in this episode it is confirmed that dot means she already killed one of her four targets, who was named Violet. I have a pet theory who that was exactly...

And while I still think the series as a whole is amazing, this episode is a good example why I think Arcane is a bit better. They take a lot of care to make almost everything as accurate as possible, which I like a lot, but that also highlights stuff that is clearly not possible. For example: She gets impaled through her heel, ten seconds later she runs pretty much normal. Or the way she climbed up that wall with a guy on her back and a seriously injured foot. It just broke my suspension of disbelief. It would be different if she had magic powers or if her feats are generally completely overblown, but most of the time it is at least sort of believable. That makes it for me even more jarring when something happens that is way too much ...

Being stabbed through the ankle doesn't automatically mean you're crippled. It looked to be deep enough that it just missed the Achilles tendon. If it had actually damaged the tendon, then she wouldn't have been able to walk. That injury is more like a step above a badly sprained ankle and just below a broken ankle. Hurts like a son of a bitch, but you can still walk on it. Her dunking the wound in ice water also helped in stopping the bleeding since ice water helps blood clot. As for the wall climbing, yeah, that does require suspension of disbelief, but they made it perfectly clear with episode one that this series is a pulp fiction story, which means it requires buckets of suspension of disbelief. Also, just my opinion, kinda ridiculous to use Arcane as a comparison when that series also needs buckets of suspension of disbelief. More so than BES with the magic and hex tech.
