Boxing: The only way a Cylon can truly die. It was such a shock hearing that for the first time because they set it up like Cylons were essentially immortal. D'Anna and Leoben differ in the fact that D'Anna was obsessed with knowing who The Final Five are but Leoben accepted the fact they shouldn't know and just focused on his visions and prophecies.

About your question of nuking the sun: Dropping a nuke on the sun, even if it is a dying sun like in the show, and hope it would trigger the sun to go supernova, would be like throwing a drop of water in an ocean and hope it would trigger a tsunami. Plus a missile would take days or even weeks to reach the sun, depending on fuel. Since it's a missile designed for combat and not exploration it might not have enough fuel to reach it at all.
