This episode was where I really got hooked in. I enjoyed watching the first three, but it was getting a bit late and I said "I'll go to bed after episode #4". Then THAT is how it ended and I said "Frick, now I've got to stay up late to keep watching". I had waffled a bit on whether or not Mizu would actually perform the mercy killing, but I settled on "She'll do it" right before it happened. Mizu had said earlier that she's on the path of Revenge, and when you're on the path of Revenge you don't hesitate. If this is what it takes to get to Fowler, then this is what she'll do. Also, she's got no illusions about how the world works, so she knows that if she does rescue her then they'll have to fight all of Boss Hamata's goons. When faced with performing one mercy killing, versus a hundred deadly fights, that's a simple answer. Not necessarily an easy answer, but simple nonetheless.
