These videos getting me through the week lately; thanks for the great content

The farm stuff is really grim. My wife had nightmares about it the first time we saw this episode and it made enough of an impression that we skipped those parts when we rewatched at a later date.

Michael Nolan

I love the paranoia this show inspires! Obviously, the people we least suspect are the most likely to be dramatically revealed later as undercover Cylons. At this stage I am very suspicious of the President and the Commander. Who survives multiple gunshots to the chest from a robot assassin in the absence of any qualified medical help? Who powers through lung cancer while only having the side effect of "visions" which can be conveniently be blamed on Kamala extract?

Franta Filipcik

Great performance by Katee. Pain when she learned that Sam is dead, rage whith painfull memories and that smile when Simon entered room before she killed him.

Louis Marti

"Why is she in the brig?" HOLY...

SummitSummit

Simon a Cylon? Yes absolutely. Maybe not for sure in that first scene, but by the second scene there wasn't a doubt remaining. When Starbuck realizes the shit she is in and runs back to her room all panicked... It's hard for me to watch. Next episode is a two parter, which is good because it's a good episode, but bad, because I have to wait until you put up both before I can watch.

Sorry for being outside the BSG episode narrative/discussion, but is there a proper way for suggesting reactions/content on your Patreon?

I wondered how you were going to react to this one once I realized which episode was next. I'm personally 25 years surgically past having to worry about having to have my own kids, but even watching this episode today I was not only reacting to the situation on screen, I was also having a whole bunch of what if flashbacks even hours later.

SmokeAndACoffee

Now the question for is "will I be able to wait until the next reaction is posted before binging a season and a half again" xD Love the react as always! I want to say more, but I'm afraid of giving anything away on accident lol

Yea, but maybe..........

So far from episode 18...

Love this show for how fearlessly they throw complex philosophical and moral questions right in people's faces. Watched it with my teenagers a few years ago and really enjoyed how it made them think about things and the questions they asked because of it.

Welp secret's out, I'm a Cylon 😂 The whole farm thing was so disturbing, it's worst than The Matrix, at least in there people are oblivious as to what's happening. Here forcing all these women to have babies after babies while fully conscious is absolutely vile. I wasn't sure about the doctor at first but when he started pressuring her about the baby stuff is when I noped out big time, that was so fkin weird and out of place! End of the world or not that would so not be the time or place to discuss that stuff. It did seem like the whole Starbuck/Anders thing happened really quick. I guess he's only been on screen for a few minutes and I already like the character so I'll give it a pass lol (you seemed pretty fond of his cheekbones after all of 30sec too :P). It is the end of the world after all, not that many fish left, if you find someone you like why waste time right? Might not be alive tomorrow anyway so live in the moment.

Hi Angela and thanks for watching BSG with me! Yes, I have the Blu Ray box set with diecast metal Cylon figurine but watched the whole thing on my own so this is so much more enjoyable and you really know your Space Shit! It is about now from Farm onwards that the rollercoaster of emotions kick in so stock up those tissues, lol! One could only imagine the human farming that was done during slavery in the USA and other parts of the world. Being a musician and home studio owner the sound in this series is Cinema quality and wearing my mortgage studio headphones makes the experience very immersive. If I could suggest 3 of my fave Sci fi series for future watching together: Falling Skies, Defiance and The 100, cheers Peter
