"Names are hard for me." One little trilogy takes the 'name cake', and maybe you should steer clear (I'm just joking btw :D ) In The Lord of the Rings (especially in the book), almost nothing or nobody has just one name LOL. Gandalf is also Mithrandir in Elvish and The Grey Pilgrim to some and then The White Rider. Rohan is also The Riddermark and Rivendell is also Imladris. Aragorn is also Strider is also King Elessar. Arwen is also Undomiel or Evenstar. And I am just scratching the surface LOL. Tolkien nerds know all this shit. You (and other casual viewers) don't need to. Nor do you need to know the extensive history of Middle Earth or how old Galadriel is (btw she's older than the Sun and Moon, but those have only been around for about 7000 years anyway...).

I felt the same way when I first watched this show. It's definitely one of the harder shows to introduce to friends cause most of them give up pretty early on. But hey don't feel bad if you don't end up liking the show either. Would suck if you feel forced to continue cause everyone else keeps telling you to ;)
