If you would like some more Fallout, I would recommend a video on Youtube, "Fallout: New Vegas is NOT An Absolute Nightmare - This is why". Not for your channel mind, just for your own entertainment. He gives a rundown of the game, with a lot of jokes. It's a good time, and maybe a quick way to have an idea about what happened in the New Vegas game, since it seems that's where the show is headed.

Honestly, you can play the game and not spoil anything for the series. While the series is based on the game, it does not follow the same story line. Really the only thing you'll learn from the game that would transfer to the series is basic game to live action mechanics such as stimpaks, jet, etc.
