Yeah this is a good what if episode. It’s almost the DC version of “It’s a Wonderful Life”

You gotta admit on the Mad Hatter's part, it was a clever scheme. He clearly couldn't best Batman in during the last confrontation they had. (Crazy to think that that was only three episodes ago). Which was largely a physical confrontation, so he chose a different tact this episode. One more suited to his particular talents.
