CURTIS IM SO EXCITED YOU FINALLY GOT TO AROUND TO THIS! This is very old school anime but there’s a reason the series has last almost 50 years. This was a show a decade ahead of its time and it showed back then. Even with how dated it may look now, nothing beats the story of the original mobile suit Gundam.

Glad to see your reaction. Just to remind you that this is the Original Gundam series that started it all and introduced the Real Robot genre. Amuro was among the earliest cases to really delve into the stress piloting mecha does. There was others prior, but Gundam tried to go further iin a war/miltary setting. In fact, Zambot 3, made by Gundam's creator explored it similarly, but as a more super robot series.
