You can really tell Homelander wants the best for his kid, especially after what he went through and how he turned out, but he's been so twisted by how he was raised that he lacks the ability AND stability to raise him properly, its pretty twisted in its own way

While I do think his attempts to be a good father to Ryan while also lacking the empathy and compassion to do so are fucked up, I gotta say his off-hand comments are hilarious. "You're raising him to be a pussy" after chucking his kid off of a roof split my sides.
