Laxus and Wendy got some of the best character development/Arcs. Laxus being such a conflicted dick in the beginning . Wendy was just so young and timid. They changed quite a bit.

Ivan, it's never a good sign when You've set up a big insurmountable cliffhanger at the end of an episode, and the next episode's title completely ignores it.
