i didn't expect myself to be into this show either. i was never into star wars or star trek or any of the sci fi dramas on tv, but after a few episodes of SG1 i was absolutely hooked and couldn't stop watching. i would watch 5 episodes per day. i don't even remember how i first heard of the show i think a friend recommended it to me and i didn't expect to be into it at all lol. this really is a phenomenally well-made show, great story, great acting, writing, directing, everything. a true underrated masterpiece of its time.
