Once again Buggy fails upwards 😂 Oda being a total troll and had these four people appear on the cover of volume 25, THAT WAS PRINTED OVER 20 YEARS AGO (release date September 4, 2002)!! The manga used exact same panelling as the cover 🤣 (Kinda how there was a pink dragon in color page of chapter 310 and Luffy wearing kimono that has Kozuki clan's crest in it... Feb.16, 2004)

I feel like a lot of the fanbase misinterprets this but I really love how the Emperors aren’t just just world’s Top 4 Strongest Pirates. Makes it feel like Luffy actually earned the title and wasn’t just destined as the MC. Like yeah they tend to be some of the strongest monsters in the world, but it’s not a yearly arm wrestling contest. It’s the 4 pirates the people of the world (Aka BN Morgans) consider to be the most threatening; with huge swaths of manpower, territory, Devil Fruits, connections, etc. that then makes your crew’s bounties and rep go up. Kidd literally has none of that aside from a heavy metal punch.
