Some context and things of note for Riding Bean. It only got 4 chapters published in the Japanese magazine Monthly Comic Noizy (due to the cancellation of the magazine) And afaik, due to some legal issues, Sonoda were not able to continue getting it published somewhere else, so he ended up making Gunsmith Cats instead. he did reuse some of the characters: Rally Vincent. Changed from a fair-skinned blonde, to the half Indian, half English we all know and love from Gunsmith Cats (Some people view her design in Riding Bean as the prototype version) Bean Bandit, varied from ally to enemy depending on the circumstances. (kept the same design) Percy showed up in the manga sequel Gunsmith Cats Burst (still trying to catch Bean Bandit) There might be more, but i've not read the manga for either Riding Bean or Gunsmith Cats or it's sequel (so take it with a grain of salt) It also has (from what i know), the only significant on screen appearance of the Semmerling LM4, a manually push-foward operated .45 ACP pistol. Used by the character also named Semmerling (the creep with the many disguises, and the character Goldie Musou, would later be loosely based of her design) And from what i know, this was the first english dub by AnimEigo (does partly explain the rough/campy state of the dub) I can't remember how much, if any of it is mentioned in Bennett the Sages video on Gunsmith Cats (A video i do plan on having you watch, most likely next month).

Very cool! Great breakdown!… For me, though, that magnificent hair is clearly a show-stealer! 😄
