Once again, we see why you should never mess with old men in anime. Oh, I forgot to mention it last episode, but the REAL best girl of the series was introduced, and loves having Subaru ride on her. You will see why in season 2 :p

Wilhelm mentioned last episode that his wife never liked holding a sword and would prefer to look at flowers all day. When he was shouting at her that he'd take her sword away, it was him trying to give her what she'd always wanted, but she was simply too talented. Always touched me how she mentions that she also likes the idea of weilding a sword to protect. It's as if Wilhelm gave her the motivation she needed to actually enjoy weilding her blade.
