I HAD to make the "Is Easy Easy" joke, but make no mistake, this show is gritty, badass awesomeness!

I really love this art style! It brings back good memories of Hellsing Ultimate and how badass characters in that were (which is no surprise since they both have same author)

Yoichi is a guy, just a very girly looking guy. If you look closely, that's not the chest of a girl. Okay so a few historical notes Nobunaga makes several references to the Ikko sect. They were a group of Buddhist Warrior Monks who tried to lead a populist revolt against Samurai like Nobunaga. The used tactics similar to what Nobunaga uses in this episode (he's learned from his enemies), Nobunaga eventually burned a good chunk of them alive in their mountain fortresses, one of which was Nagashima. The reason he's smiling is because he's recalling a fond memory of getting rid of a particularly annoying enemy. The two old guys we see fighting at the beginning are two figures from Roman History. The Roman General Scipio Africanus and Hannibal of Carthage (the same Hannibal that invaded Rome by crossing the Swiss Alps with an Army, bringing with him Elephants which were supposed to be his secret weapon) these two were enemies in life hence the bickering in this episode.

I think Easy commands the army we see at the end there, the "Black King army", not the white jackets. I guess they are the Millennium of this series?

I remember falling in love with this art style the first time I saw this. It's so unique to everything else I've seen. Surprisingly, however, I haven't seen many people cover this show at all. This show deserves way more love and attention than it currently has! xD

Here's your monthly dose of pure, unadulterated V I O L E N C E everyone! A few things to note, the entire time Toyohisa was beating the ever-loving shit out of Lord Aram (incredibly forgettable name), he had ANOTHER SWORD that he could've just fuckin' ended him there with, but no, he woke up, smelled the battle and chose V I O L E N C E. Nobunaga looks like he's setting the fire to the fields to ruin tax collection and distract the enemy forces, which he was, to some extent, but the real reason he did it was to put the elves in the worst possible situation to refuse him. Like he said, "Those who have lost both stop caring and desperately cling to anything." The elves have no food with which to eat or to present as tribute before the Lord(s) who rule them and they lost all 'dignity' as serfs by betraying their masters. Who better for the Elves to cling to than the Great Unifyer/Demon King, Oda Nobunaga? Also, no, Easy ain't easy, but she sure is easy on the eyes.

This show is absolutely amazing! Not only in the badass battles, but this whole depiction of Mr. 9to5 putting together this Drifter army is fascinating!
