Another series that we need added to the daily watch list. Since we're caught up on a lot of the old Toonami series already (Yu Yu, Cowboy Bebop and Trigun) might as well get through the few remaining ones.

This show really deserves the Fmab treatment, especially since the last arc wasn’t adapted. But the dub really is amazing so it wouldn’t be the same with out getting this cast back

I love kenshin its too bad the last arc never got fully animated best we got were flashbacks in that movie thats not canon and i hated but the show is pretty good till the end of kyoto arc the whole 3rd season that takes place after is all filler

Bruhhhhh why are all of these shows being sponsored for goosher 100. Between Psycho Pass, Kenshin, Fate/Zero. They are not meant to be seen one episode per month. Its impossible to really appreciate any of them if you are watching each episode without any sort of continuity. I can understand the eagerness to get these on the list but this sort of haste is just gonna ruin them for everyone involved.

I can definitely say i dont agree, the show originally aired once per week and this extra wait between eps doesn't particularly hurt the viewers ability to watch and understand hell with filler naruto would be away from its main story for months but fans would still come back interested and still invested when back to canon, similarly aot was gone for like 5 years but its devoted fan base was still chomping at the bit when s2 dropped, it certainly has never inhibited curtis from enjoying any g100 series that he must wait a month inbetween.i think most here would rather see these shows once per month then wait for years for them to possibly never win a nomination as kenshin has so far been on quite a few nomination polls and not won. Not to mention these kind of sponsors can help sway the community and possibly make these series more likely to win a future nomination.

Despite being a few years younger. Rurouni Kenshin was brought to Toonami at the same time as Yu Yu Hakusho, and even aired in the time slot immediately after Yu Yu. As a result, a lot of Western amine fans associate these 2 show's with each other.

As im trying to keep character storyarcs together next month there will be 4 grisaia episodes, theres one slot remaining and i was curious if yous guys would rather me sponsor the 3rd(first real) episode of gintama subbed or the first ep of ghost in the shell sac dubbed

don’t do Gintama because it will happen eventually on the regular lineup, Ghost in the Shell has a good story and not mentioned here often, so let Curtis see something he’s not familiar with.

Ah, Rurouni Kenshin. This series holds a special place in what is left of my heart and soul. It was one of the first Manga series I read and I must have reread it about 10 times over the years.^^ Sadly, it is one of those great storys that never got the adaptation, they deserved. The show is good (aside from it never beeing finished), but I can't help but compare it to the manga. Never the less, I garantee that you will have a good thime, watching the show! And all of us as well of course. ;)

Reading the comments on this, it sounded like it was going to be a monthly series, but this was 7 months ago, so I'm a little confused how some of these work / what happened. Did the Rurouni Kenshin vids get nuked or is it just on like a hiatus until Curtis has time to come back to this one? This is one of my most nostalgic anime so I'd love to see a reaction to it. I feel like it doesn't get much if any love these days given what the mangaka turned out to be, but its still a good old Toonami childhood favorite.
