At the start Curtis was still talking about "tentacle girl" and I was thinking didn't he see all the messages about Gloxinia being guy, but then I remembered he's ahead on episodes more than usual.. Also the "Midnight Sun" was very brilliant!

This is one of the things I love about Escanor. He's the same guy whether he's day or night form, the only difference is his pride. He knows that Gowther, flawed as he is, isn't to blame for this. The commandments took advantage of his friend's earnest desire for a heart, to understand his friends, and used it to force him into a deathfight. and he was NOT going to let that stand. So, naturally, he decides to nuke the ever loving fuck out of them in the middle of the night. That'll teach them. Funny how you mention that the brother commandment is going to be a tough one, since there's two of those...
