Those G-5 soldiers both saved Tashigi and pulled a flex on Caeser with those gestures. They may as well have been giving him the middle finger.

Just wanting to clarify a little something about the gas: Caesar said it ENCASED the victim in something like ash. So all of those people are being held into place by several rock hard layers of "ash" while the poison does its job. For all we know, they could still be conscious like that. Just imagine the horror, though.. being stuck in place, unable to move or scream, slowly dying of either poison, asphyxiation or thirst (whichever gets to you first). Can't even hope to be saved because how can anyone get to you to save you. Imagine Pompei, but the people die a lot slower.

I ended up giving up on one piece, and I think that this was actually the last episode I watched. From here on out is all new territory for me. Maybe I can continue my one piece journey through your reactions as your reactions actually make this arc cool. I personally didn't like it that much myself.
