In the background of a scene, Lelouch explained how the britannian royal family ensured that they had better rulers than other people. It is basically because they encourage infighting, though there are still laws, so you have to not be discovered. That seems to be part of the actual education students get in this world.

Kallen/Karen (I think the translation is weird since Karen is a name while Kallen isnt but eh) gets an early start as the nr 1 fanservice character of this show. As for Milly being easy... I somehow doubt it unfortunately :(

I doubt it, the general populace and the royals are probably not really the same. And rather, while they are a fight and make your way forward nation they still have a great deal of respect and obedience to authority so I doubt people would be encouraged to break the law. Depending on which law, discrimination is a-okay. Dont think laws are all that big on protecting the 11's in the first place I checked what he was saying though and that is some high level indoctrination.

A name is not defined to just common names. Just look up uncommon girl names and Kallen looks normal. Lots of names are also shortened or lengthened versions of common names.

This series does slow down a bit later on. I think the slowdown starts somewhere in last minute on the final episode.
