I neveer noticed it watching through on release; but every season saves it's animation budget in slightly different ways. S1 has bad looking episodes; 2 has 2 entire a/b-episode studios; half of S3 has weird midfight ps2 models, then flashbacks every 3 minutes til Prison. Now we have pretty pictures that literally aren't animated. I'm not against it and like each varying amounts, but interesting...
