Fun fact those little ghost looking, doll things that Miyamura was making. Are called Teru teru bozu they're basically charms made by children in urban areas of Japan, in hopes of attracting sunny weather. Though since they were making them so they hung upside down. I guess they were trying to make it so it would rain. Sort of like their rain dance.
