yeah, i've read enough stories to suspect the reason eisen hit stark was because he exceeded his expectations and triggered his defensive reflexes before he could consciously react. it helps that we've spent some time with him before, so we had at least somewhat of an idea of eisen's character, and hitting stark in anger didn't really feel like something he would do. still impressive taking down a dragon like that. and as his first real opponent, too. the boy is going places.
